INSURANCE POLICY

The only insurance that I currently take is Aetna.  If you have another type of insurance I am happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement if you have out of network benefits.

CASH SERVICES AND FEES

* $400.00 for a 50-60 min intake appointment
* $205.00 for a 25-30 min medication management follow up appointment

* $400.00 for a 50-60 min ongoing weekly or biweekly therapy appointment (with or without medication management).

Please contact me for services such as mental health evaluation for court ordered mental health diversion.

OFFICE POLICIES

Patients need to physically reside in California, but are not required to see me in person, unless a controlled substance is prescribed.
I see patients in person on Thursdays and remotely all other days of the week.
All appointments have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

I offer both evening and weekend appointments.  Please ask if you need evening/weekend availability.

Payment for all appointments is via CC. I ask for a credit card to be kept in your file in order to confirm your first appointment, but will inform you before any charges.

Controlled Substance Policy

I prescribe controlled substances, including benzodiazepines and stimulant medication for ADHD. Please note that controlled substance prescribing requires patients to sign a release of information for their primary care physician and will also require periodic in-person appointments.

I also offer basic ADHD testing, which is not a full neuropsychiatric evaluation. This testing is a separate service from the cost of the appointment and is $350.00.

Course of Treatment

After an initial intake appointment, I typically meet with clients every 2–4 weeks while we work toward medication stability. In some cases, the right medication and dose can be identified relatively quickly, and you may only need three to four visits before transitioning into a maintenance phase. For others, this process may take longer, depending on symptom complexity and individual response.
Once you are stable, follow-up appointments usually occur every 1–3 months, based on your clinical needs. I strive to be transparent about what to expect throughout treatment, while also recognizing that psychiatric care can sometimes be unpredictable. When I am prescribing ongoing medication, I require at least one appointment every three months, even when symptoms are well controlled, to ensure safe and appropriate care.
For clients participating in therapy, sessions are 60 minutes and are typically held weekly at the start of treatment. As therapy progresses, we can reassess together whether a less frequent schedule — such as biweekly sessions — may be appropriate.
